The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, held annually in late January and February, is one of the most popular events in Fort Worth. It dates back to 1896 when the first indoor rodeo took place in the city. This event features some of the world’s top rodeo performers competing in various events such as steer roping, bull riding, and barrel racing. The State Fair of Texas is the other significant event in Fort Worth in late September and early October at the historic Fair Park. This event is a celebration of Texas traditions that features live music and entertainment, fair rides, a variety of food options, and more. The State Fair of Texas is also home to the Texas Discovery Gardens, an interactive wildlife sanctuary, and botanical gardens.

 

The Great Texas Beer Festival takes place every October in Trinity Park. This event showcases craft beers from around the state, and there are many food stands and live music. There is also a “Brew School” that teaches classes on beer-making. This is the perfect event for beer lovers from Texas and the rest of the world.
