The Fort Worth Zoo is one of those places we keep coming back to, even as the kids get older. It’s big enough to feel like a full-day adventure but laid out well so you’re not exhausted by noon. The giraffe feeding is always a hit, and I really appreciate how much emphasis they put on conservation and education. You actually learn something while having fun. It’s also a great reminder of how important wildlife protection is. When we planned a weekend trip around a zoo visit, I even double-checked lodging because of scammers on airbnb. Once you’re there, though, it’s pure joy and curiosity for all ages.
